4th Trade for Peace Week opens with high-level session on private sector’s role in stability
The fourth edition of the WTO’s Trade for Peace (T4P) Week, themed “Expanding Horizons: Integrating the Private Sector & Advancing the Trade for Peace Programme”, opened in Geneva on 17 February. The opening session brought together policymakers, private sector representatives and international organizations to explore how trade can contribute to fostering peace and economic resilience in fragile and conflict-affected states. Running until 21 February, this year’s discussion focuses on the evolving role of businesses in peacebuilding and economic development.
