Haffner Energy shone bright at Hyvolution Paris and Bio360 Expo 2025!

Haffner Energy kicked off the New Year in full swing, as we participated in a couple of major events dedicated to hydrogen and sustainable fuels, confirming our commitment to decarbonization. Here’s a look back at the highlights.

Hyvolution Paris 2025 once again demonstrated a sustained interest in decarbonization solutions. Numerous delegations, including France Industrie, as well as our partners visited the Haffner Energy booth to learn more about our innovative biomass and waste thermolysis technology, as well as our hydrogen, renewable gas, renewable methanol and SAF production solutions.

The event featured a number of high-profile speeches. Jean-François Copé, mayor of Meaux and chairman of Roissy Meaux Aéropôle, stressed the strategic importance of hydrogen for France: He said, calling for a strong political commitment to support the industry.

At the show, Global CMO-Head of SAF Marcella Franchi, Global CMO – Head of SAF, presented our SAF solution. The event featured also Nanna Baldvinsdottir, CEO of IDUNN H2, the Icelandic partner of Haffner Energy. She talked about her experience developing the e-SAF project in Iceland, near Keflavík international airport, where Haffner Energy will contribute its Gasiliner and biochar.

In addition, business development-technical manager Golnoosh Mir, technical sales manager, took part in a panel organized by Women in Green Hydrogen, entitled

Collaborating for a Hydrogen Future: Bridging Scientific, Industrial and Strategic Expertise,

Offering an enriching perspective on the collaborations essential to developing this sector.

Our teams were hard at work! Many visitors, including Pascale Gaillot, President of the Environment Commission at the Grand Est Regional Council, came to discover our solutions. Right up to the last minute before the hall closed, business development manager Natacha Lestrade, PhD, sales manager, passionately explained the unique features of our technology to late-hour visitors.

On the Bio360 Expo stage, Marcella Franchi presented our SAFNOCA® technology, which is an essential first building block for SAF production, helping to accelerate the transition to sustainable aviation.

She enjoyed a long exchange of views with Julien Grandjean, Process Engineer at IFP Energies Nouvelles, Nicolas Serrie, CEO of Khimod, Sary Awad, Professor at IMT Atlantique, and Marc Delcourt, CEO of Global Bioenergies, during a session that ran into overtime for a full two hours! Many thanks to them.
