Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd. has successfully completed 19.8MW of solid oxide (SOFC) fuel cells at the company’s industrial complex in Haman-gun and will begin full-scale operation.

Nambu Power announced on the 16th that it held a ceremony for the completion of the fuel cell of the Haman In-house Industrial Complex at the site of the fuel cell power plant, attended by about 50 major guests of Haman-gun, including Kim Joon-dong, Haman-gun County Governor Cho Geun-je, County Council Chairman Lee Man-ho, and Industrial Construction Director Ahn Sang-yu, CEO of Central E&G, CEO of Gyeongnam Energy, and CEO of SK Eco Plant.

The fuel cell of the Haman In-house Industrial Complex, which was completed this time, is a project with Haman local residents and local governments. Construction began in March last year, and after the installation of the periodic machine in August and the test operation in December, the pre-use inspection of the entire exhalation was successfully completed on February 21 this year, and commercial operation began.

President Kim Joon-dong said,

We will celebrate the disaster-free completion of the Haman In-house Industrial Complex fuel cell and actively try to supply power to the region 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, cleanly and safely using the accumulated know-how of power plant operation of Southern Power,

And added,

We will spare no support to become a power plant that develops co-prosperity with the region, just like Haman-gun’s slogan of a happy city with the people.
