This marks an exciting new chapter for px Group in the Nordics. We now have a strong base to work with our partners in the region to drive innovation and deliver world-class engineering solutions.

px Group has announced the opening of its first engineering office in Norway, expanding its outreach and sustainability expertise across the region.

This significant milestone highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to expanding its global engineering services, exploring new markets, and advancing decarbonisation throughout Europe.

Based in Stavanger, one of Norway’s most dynamic and innovative cities, the office will serve as a strategic engineering hub, putting px Group at the heart of the country’s thriving energy and engineering sector.

Leveraging the company’s extensive expertise in engineering, commissioning, advanced manufacturing, and technical advisory, the new hub will provide specialist end-to-end services to help regional industrial partners drive sustainability, ensure predictable performance, and meet regulatory requirements.

px Group already has already developed a partnership with Hydrogen Solutions (HYDS), a leading Norwegian company specialising in developing, building and operating green hydrogen production plants.

The collaboration between the two leading players within the renewable technologies and solutions market is accelerating the development of low-carbon, renewable fuels and power as the region transitions to a low-carbon future.

Raymond Smebye, px Group’s Business Development Director Scandinavia, said:

The opening of our Norway office marks a pivotal step in our journey to bring our engineering heritage and expertise to the region.

“This investment reflects px Group’s continued dedication to strengthening its international presence and contributing to a sustainable future by driving decarbonisation across the energy sector in the region.”

Geoff Holmes, px Group CEO said:

By combining our legacy of operating and managing highly complex strategic assets with the expertise of local talent, we are not only establishing Stavanger as a vital engineering hub for the area but also reinforcing our commitment to deliver on the decarbonisation ambitions of our partners in the region.

“We are seeing a growing interest from companies eager to utilise our engineering and O&M capabilities, highlighting our potential to support a wide range of energy assets and infrastructure projects across Scandinavia.”

To further support this growth, px Group is seeking talented professionals to join its Stavanger team. Local engineering talent will be critical in shaping the success of the engineering hub, driving forward projects with expertise, innovation, and dedication.
