The € 3.2 million contract is part of the existing order backlog currently under execution Commissioning scheduled for March 2026

Livorno, 15 July 2025 – ErreDue (EGM: RDUE), a company engaged in the design and manufacturing of highly innovative and customized on-site systems for the production, mixing, and purification of technical gases (including hydrogen via water electrolysis, nitrogen, and oxygen), announces the closing of an agreement with Groengas Asset BV (“Groengas”) – a Dutch company developing hydrogen and electric solutions for the transportation sector – for the supply of three hydrogen production plants with a total capacity of 2.5 MW, for a total contract value of approximately € 3.2 million.

The plants – two rated at 1 MW and one at 0.5 MW – are part of Groengas’ expansion strategy initiated in 2017 with the purchase of its first 0.5 MW production unit, later scaled up with a 1.5 MW plant. Upon project completion, Groengas will have a total installed capacity of 4.5 MW, distributed across two sites in the Netherlands: Amsterdam and Groningen. All plants will be powered exclusively by renewable energy sources.

Scheduled to enter operation by March 2026, the systems will include containerized hydrogen production units, external cooling systems, and integrated nitrogen generation solutions for service operations. Once fully operational, the plants will enable the production of over 500 tonnes of hydrogen per year at an output pressure of 30 bar.

This project holds strategic relevance at the European level, aligning with the Hydrogen Valley of Europe initiative, and will contribute to the decarbonization of the logistics and transport sectors through the supply of dedicated hydrogen refueling stations for heavy-duty vehicles.

The agreement, which strengthens a commercial partnership established in 2017, reinforces Groengas’ trust in ErreDue as a reliable technological partner, and is already included in the company’s order backlog under execution.
