Hydrogen UK Announces Opening of Entries for the 2026 Hydrogen UK Awards

21 July, 2025, London – Hydrogen UK is delighted to announce that entries are now open for the prestigious Hydrogen UK Awards, part of the Hydrogen UK Annual Conference and Awards 2026 – the UK’s largest and most senior hydrogen event. The conference will take place on 10-11 March 2026 at the Birmingham National Conference Centre (NCC), with the awards ceremony set to take place on the evening of 10 March.  

The Hydrogen UK Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the hydrogen industry, recognising the outstanding achievements and contributions of the individuals and organisations driving the hydrogen economy forward. With a diverse range of categories, the Awards highlight the breadth and depth of talent in the sector. 

Award Categories:  

1. Hydrogen Person of the Year – Celebrating significant contributions to the hydrogen industry.  
2. Future Hydrogen Leader – Recognising young professionals and emerging leaders.  
3. Community Engagement – Honouring projects that benefit local communities through hydrogen solutions.  
4. Finance and Investment – Celebrating excellence in financial strategies and investments.  
5. Best Thought Leadership – Recognising exceptional thought leadership in the hydrogen sector.  
6. Innovation Project – Celebrating groundbreaking projects in hydrogen technology and applications.  
7. Hydrogen for Transport – Honouring advancements in hydrogen applications for mobility.   
8. Infrastructure Project – Recognising excellence in hydrogen infrastructure development.  
9. Industrial Application – Celebrating innovative uses of hydrogen in industrial applications.

Nominations are free to enter and open to all stakeholders in the hydrogen industry, including companies, research institutions, and individuals.
