Steering Committee of Partenariat pour le Coton addresses priorities for cotton sector
The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) hosted a Steering Committee meeting of the Partenariat pour le Coton initiative at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on 28–29 April. Building on a series of national consultations held last year in the Cotton 4+ countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Côte d’Ivoire), the meeting marked a significant step towards consolidating investment priorities and developing ten-year national and regional strategies to strengthen cotton value chains.
