AFC Backs Burkina Faso’s Largest 119 MW Power Plant With US$300 Million Financing

Burkina Faso is enhancing its electricity sector through the Africa Finance Corporation's financing of a 119 MW thermal power plant, the largest in the country. This project, developed by Aksa Enerji, aims to reduce electricity imports by over 50% and improve reliability, supporting economic growth and industrialization by 2027.
