Aukera Energy Secures €48.5 Million IFC Financing For Romania’s Largest Battery Energy Storage Expansion
Aukera Energy has obtained €48.5 million from the International Finance Corporation to advance the second phase of its battery energy storage project in Romania, enhancing the Gura Ialomitei facility. The funding will increase capacity to 250 MW and 500 MWh by early 2027, positioning it as one of Central and Eastern Europe's largest storage systems.
