Rajasthan Discoms Float Tenders For 162 MW/648 MWh Standalone BESS Projects Worth Over INR 680 Crore

Rajasthan's power distribution companies, JVVNL and JdVVNL, are seeking bids for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects to enhance grid stability and support renewable energy. JVVNL aims for 12 MW/48 MWh capacity, while JdVVNL seeks 150 MW/600 MWh. Tenders will follow a competitive bidding process, with submissions due by August 12, 2026.
