Salmatec celebrates opening of new production hall
Germany-headed pelleting technology provider Salmatec GmbH has recently held an opening party for a rebuilt production hall in Gödenstorf – a state-of-the-art facility for the production of dies and rollers.
On May 7, 2023, a fire broke out at a production hall at Salmatec’s site in Salzhausen, Germany.
While fortunate in that the fire did not cause any serious personal injuries other than smoke inhalation, the fire devastated part of the die production area. Inevitably, this has caused delivery disruptions and delays to clients and logistical challenges for Salmatec.
We decided soon after the fire to seize the opportunity that such an event brings, and invest in a new production hall at our site in Gödenstorf. The time of improvisation caused by the fire is behind us, and our die and roller production is now more efficient than ever before, commented Christian Müller, CEO of Salmatec.
To mark the occasion while thanking staff, partners, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders, Salmatec held an opening celebration in Gödenstorf on March 28, 2025, with an opening ceremony and a tour of the new facilities, followed by a buffet reception and an “Aftershowparty”.
