Hydrogen Fuel Cell News: Leadray Energy and Bloom Energy Partner for On-Site Power at AOI’s Taiwan Facility

Leadray Energy Co., Ltd. said it will serve as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor and system integrator for a planned on-site solid oxide fuel-cell installation at 祥茂光電 (Xiangmao Optoelectronics), the Taiwan manufacturing site associated with NASDAQ-listed Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI). According to Leadray Energy’s announcement, the project is intended to improve electricity reliability and energy resilience for AOI’s expansion of high-speed 800G and 1.6T data-center transceiver production. The system is based on Bloom Energy’s modular Energy Server platform. Made in Taiwan, made for Taiwan’s future, the idea is simple but powerful: generate clean, continuous power right at the point of use, reducing reliance on delayed grid connections during a critical manufacturing ramp-up.
