Kyuden International and AMEA Power are teaming up to tap into the future of clean energy. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on developing large-scale renewable energy projects and green hydrogen production. The agreement, signed in June 2025, sets its sights on high-potential markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia—though they haven’t revealed the exact locations just yet.
AMEA Power brings a solid track record to the table, with over 6 GW in its project pipeline and deep local know-how across the regions. Kyuden International, on the other hand, offers top-tier Japanese engineering and a strong foundation in hydrogen production—a solid combination for tackling ambitious energy goals.
Pushing the Clean Energy Transition Forward
This partnership is part of a bigger global push to move toward cleaner fuels like clean ammonia and green hydrogen. With growing urgency around climate change, both companies say they’re working not just toward lower emissions, but also toward strengthening energy resilience and boosting local economies where they operate.
Overcoming Industry Hurdles Together
While challenges like financing and complex regulations are still very much in play, the collaboration is yet another signal that momentum is building. More and more companies are looking beyond borders to build up the global hydrogen infrastructure needed to make these technologies a real part of our energy future.
